Complaints and Appeals
If you have received a fine for a vignette violation and wish to appeal, this must be done directly with the Austrian authorities, not through us. We can provide general information about the process, but we cannot act as your representative or submit appeals on your behalf.
For appeals against vignette fines, contact the relevant Austrian district administrative authority (Bezirksverwaltungsbehörde) in the district where the violation occurred. Appeals must be submitted in writing within four weeks of the penalty notice. See our Policies page for more information.
